Wild Mint

Wild mint illustration

When you eat something, food breaks down in your mouth. Then it travels to your stomach where it’s broken down some more. Your body extracts nutrients, sugars and fats, and gets rid of the rest. Mint has been used to soothe digestion and calm the stomach for centuries. It contains peppermint and menthol oils; they stimulate the flow of bile to the stomach and relax the digestive tract muscles.
